* 2012 Schedule is coming soon!
The Family Food Zone offers fun, food-focused crafts, including pumpkin painting, making macaroni jewelry, creating candy portraits and decorating your own take-out carton.
The Family Food Zone Cooking Stage offers educational demos and cooking lessons from national and local chefs in an interactive environment designed to entertain and inform. Just a few activities happening on the Family Food Zone stage:
Join us for the 1st annual Taste of Atlanta Top Chef Kids Cooking Competition. The competition will partner three young chefs-in-training with three professional Atlanta chefs. The three teams will be given select regional ingredients to cook with and time to prepare for the competition. At Taste of Atlanta, the teams will square off against each other to create their dishes for a panel of kid judges ages 9 - 12. Come watch these budding young chefs compete and learn how to prepare their special recipes. We'll have different teams competing on Saturday and Sunday – both at 3:15 on the Family Food Zone stage.
