On September 25th, five of Atlanta’s best Sommeliers competed for the title of Atlanta’s Best Sommelier. This competition was held at City Winery and highlighted three categories: wine service, blind tasting and theory.
Guests enjoyed wine and food pairing curated by City Winery Executive Chef, Nick Anderson and Beverage Director, Mani Gonzalez. The winner was selected by an elite panel of judges including Phillip Burrus, Eric Crane, Jacob Gragg and Joon Lim.
The winner of Taste of Atlanta’s 3rd Annual Best Somm Competition is: Adam Pucillo, Head Sommelier for American Cut and Regent Cocktail Club. He will team up with Chef James from Barcelona Inman Park to show how to pair wine and food at Taste of Atlanta’s Chef’s Table Stage, Saturday, October 21st!
